The total number of Covid-19 positive patients have crossed 13 lakh with over 48,000 new cases in just the past 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry.
Just a couple days ago, Arvind Singh Bhadoria, a cabinet minister of the Madhya Pradesh government was tested positive for coronavirus. And now Shivraj Singh Chauhan has tested positive as well.
In a series of tweets, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan broke the news of him not feeling well, showing Covid-19 symptoms and he's tested positive for the virus. In the tweet, he also asked everyone who has been in contact with him to quarantine themselves.
He tweeted, "I have been reviewing the status of corona infection every evening since 25th March. I will try to review Corona with video conferencing as much as possible now."
